Eli

Eli is an urban coffee shop near the State Circus in Kyiv, created as an intimate space for coffee lovers. The concept is built around the mascot dog Eli, the “director” of the establishment, whose image shapes the communication strategy and color palette of the interior.
The project is a complete reconstruction of the existing space while preserving authentic elements: brick walls with engravings from a 1970s reinforced concrete factory and a ceiling made of raw concrete slabs. These details have become a dialogue between the industrial memory of the place and modern design.
The compositional center of the interior is an island – a barista zone, highlighted by brickwork and accent lighting. Polished metal combined with the preserved texture of the walls creates a balance between historical context and current aesthetics.
