HOOD is an interior design project by Volodymyr Ponomarenko in Warsaw.

The establishment is located in a pre-war townhouse on the lively street Poznańska 37. The 108 m² space combines the format of a day cafe and an evening bar, working in a continuous rhythm – from the first guests with coffee to evening sets and cocktails.

The interior is built on the contrast of textures and precision geometry. Concrete podium topography organizes space, sets landing levels and forms smooth elevation changes. She structures the movement and creates scenography for different scenarios of the institution.

The central console bar and the hanging wooden cube form spatial dominants — massive, static, but at the same time “floating” in volume. The front area with mirrored planes visually expands the narrow room, picking up the arcades of the facade and city traffic outside.

The material language of the interior is minimalist and tactile. The rough texture of the white walls is combined with the polished concrete of the floors and podiums, stainless on the work surfaces and deep matte wood on the bar and furniture. Large planes, clear seams and controlled joints create a calm environment for the daily operation of the space.
