Cinder

This 61.3 m² apartment in the center of Kyiv is built on a sophisticated contrast of a restrained architectural shell and rich object accents, which consciously emphasize the intimacy of the space. The color palette works through complex halftones: gray-blue mineral walls, dark parquet and chocolate curtains balance warm wood and reddish-brown details. In the kitchen area, a lighter composition of light wood, small tiles and metal facades seamlessly continues the overall material logic of the living room.
The integrity of the interior sets a clear spatial rhythm — from the square grid of wooden panels in the TV area and bedroom to vertical curtains, striped textiles and graphic chrome frames. The filling of the apartment has a collectible character and creates an attractive tactile tension: a low leather sofa in the style of the Italian 1970s, a weightless paper hanger, a metal coffee table and ceramics interact with each other without excessive visual noise. The project abandons neutrality in favor of an atmosphere of urban density, where decorativeness is born exclusively from the exact balance of form, color and weight of each material.
